Louis Latour Pinot Noir, 2001, Domaine de Valmoissine -- We braved the world of French Pinot Noirs, and this one got us hooked. We look forward to trying it again and writing a more detailed synopsis.
Isabel Chardonnay, 1999, Marlborough-- We wanted to try a New Zealand Chardonnay because they left a lasting impression on us at a wine party years ago. This wine was good but didn't stand out among the many great affordable Chardonnays we've tasted.
Maui Brut Tedeschi Vineyards, Ulupalakua, Hawaii--We picked this bottle up on our Honeymoon and drank it with our friends, Rachelle and Paul, on a snowy evening in March. Despite the fact that this sparkling wine comes from Hawaii (not exactly known for its winemaking), we found it was fairly dry and offered a delicate balance of flavors.
