Sealed with a screw cap (an increasingly common practice for Australian wines), this Riesling is crisp and dry with lime-fresh acidity and hints of citrus blossoms, particularly apples and pears. It is very mild with only undertones of sweetness, unlike some of the overly sweet Rieslings we’ve tasted. It’s supposed to complement fresh seafood and delicate spice dishes. We found it worked well with our fresh fruit dessert with ginger mint syrup.
